Quite Certainly yes, Technology has created a revolution like no other history has witnessed.
The International Network (more commonly known as Internet) is a magic where n number of people communicate with each other, help each other, share knowledge, give suggestions, fight with each other... but they cannot see each other and might never in their lifetimes.
From students prespective:
- Forums: these are a great way for them to get answers to the questions that've been bothering them for a long time. Forums like MP also help these students to get information on projects that they are working on... this is a positive step towards increasing their knowledge in the world of internet and informing them how vast this ocean is
- Interactive Training: Websites like Bionic Turtle has provided information in the form of small video files, which are as good as attending classroom lectures. The best advantage of these trainings are you can play/pause/rewind/forward them and watch them n number of times. Ask you math professor to do that, and you'll end up in an asylum
GOOGLE & YOUTUBE: Perhaps the trend setters.. the will give you any (and I mean ANY) kind of information you are looking for....
In a nutshell, life has become much simpler for students of this generation (in terms of finding information)... if you know what i mean
