Teachers dont teach, they just instruct

Most teachers just make us copy down notes, and explain nothing. Then when you ask for clarification on a question, they simply restate it slowly, and assume that it helped.

Teachers do not teach anymore, they just instruct. Your thoughts?

It is true there is an acute shortage of good faculty and teachers at all levels of education. World over, this shortage is being felt but in India the shortage has reached alarming proportions.

The rate at which the enrolment of students is increasing at teachers' training programmes in India is not sufficient to meet the increasing demand for teachers.

There may be sum teachers but u knoe i hvae seen teachers putting their 101% in teaching... so it would be unfair saying that statement...
actually the statement should be...

Unfortunately, a lot of teachers really don't know the material they're supposed to be teaching, they're just reading ahead in the textbook and then passing on what they read.

yess i agree with this pranav , well you can say teachers are just a medium of passing of info ...at the max you can refer 3 books altogether

yaa you can say all are the same some really put in their hard core efforts to give their students the best

there is no shortage of good teachers its just the system and operations have taken a turnaround people arent serious with their profession

Its true that you can find many teachers in school where they really copy down the notes and not capable to answer the query of student. This should be the responsibility of school management to take care while selecting the teachers. Because school is our primary or basic level where we need clear explanation of everything.
