I am a B.Tech Information Technology 2005 passed out software engineering working for a MNC since december 2005.

I have my desire to do MBA in 2008.

Kindly advise me on how better would it be to do MBA in India or doing it abroad.

Would it be cost effective? educational standard? placements in india ?

hi ebenezer,
getting a work exp is good bcoz it helps u to get to the top B-schools. By 2008, u would have 3 yrs work-ex and hence, it won't be difficult for u to apply even outside. As for whether doing it in India or outside, that's a personal choice. It is hard to manage it outside and u have to ensure that u have enough funds to support you during ur study period. Besides, the amount of scholarship u get, is also a deciding factor.

If u work hard, placements won't be an issue, however, u really got to work very very hard there and u might have to take part-time jobs to assist the money u would get from home. It is a got experience, if u can manage everything properly.

p.s. Ppl doing MBA from outside generally prefer to settle outside, but its an indivudal choice. Placement shouldnt be an issue.

see all what matters is how you percive your life ...doing mba from a premium institute either in india or abroad is imp rest is junk....and ya work ex is the main imp factor we indians has to understand ...having a work ex then an mba is benefitiory thing to think on....
