I’m a materials engineering student and my area is
semiconductor processing. Device technology in California
is the best in the world, and I wanted to study in California
because of Silicon Valley. I checked all the UCs and found that
Santa Barbara is the best for semiconductor proce ssing.
When I frst got here I thought, “Oh no, the university is too
big, too organized, too much!” My experience here has been
amazing and astonishing. The campus is charming and lovely,
and so is the city of Santa Barbara. Here, people are willing to
guide you and show you the right way. The professors are very
helpful and they treat you with a lot of respect. The international
students I hang out with all fnd that the American people are
very kind, polite, and they always want to help. This has been
the best year of my life!
