Global Classroom
Working with world-class academic partners in key global markets—Western Europe, Central/ Eastern Europe, Asia, and Latin America—we’ve created an accelerated one year program, uniquely designed to provide supply chain expertise in a global environment. As a student in this pioneering business program, you won’t just think outside the box—you will live outside it by taking classes and connecting with peers and mentors on campuses in Paris, France; Singapore; Budapest, Hungary; and the United States. It’s the only executive MBA focused on supply chains to offer such substantial international classroom and networking opportunities.

“There really is no such thing as a purely North American supply chain anymore. UT’s global supply chain programs are a tremendous opportunity for companies to be engaged in dialogue on issues that span borders across the world.”
— Dave Clark, Vice President of North American Operations, Amazon.com, UT graduate, and member of UT’s Supply Chain Forum

Full Immersion
The Global Supply Chain EMBA immerses students in the economic, political, and cultural realities of major world markets. You’ll benefit from a world-class international faculty and expert speakers on geopolitical and business topics, but you won’t just sit in classrooms. One of the hallmarks of our unique curriculum is supply chain–focused experiential learning in each global region. This offers you unprecedented opportunities to witness firsthand how the global supply chain concepts you’re learning are applied in different world markets—and to gain direct exposure to each region’s key supply chain challenges. During each on-campus period, you will • Directly engage with businesses and governments through field visits, • Learn the cultural nuances and social, political, and business realities of key world regions, and • Receive coaching on conducting business overseas from international experts.

Transnational Leadership
Responding to the complexity of the worldwide, multicultural business environment and its demands on business leaders, the Global Supply Chain EMBA includes a novel leadership-development program to help you hone the skills and develop the vision necessary to succeed in a global environment. The Transnational Leadership Program allows you to explore ethical, sociological, environmental, political, and regulatory issues, which vary significantly by industry, trading organization, culture, country, and region. Along the way, you’ll be challenged to think beyond the confines of your organization and your existing functional knowledge. The Transnational Leadership includes curricula such as: • The Transnational Business Context • Business and Public Policy • Ethical Leaders: Responsible Business • Transnational Negotiation • Transnational Strategy.

Return on Investment
Companies that make the commitment to enroll their high-potential talent in the Global Supply Chain EMBA will see a significant return on their investment. Many executive MBA programs require graduates to leave with an action plan to apply the business concepts they’ve learned once they return to work. Our Global Supply Chain EMBA focuses on immediate relevancy. From day one, you will work closely with faculty to develop an Organizational Action Project (OAP) and play a key role in its development, analysis, and implementation within your organization while you earn your degree. Successful completion represents a major step outside your current knowledge and comfort zones. The OAP has two objectives: significant return on investment for your employer and accelerated professional growth, development, and career opportunity for you where it matters most—your corporate offices. We estimate that executing this project within your sponsoring corporation will create a minimum return of $1 million USD within one to three years.
