Position Summary: To strategically coordinate the Revenue Management processes and procedures for multiple properties, maximize each hotel's room revenue, and grow market share. This is accomplished by: analyzing demand factors; forecasting business levels; conducting competitive analyses; managing and maintaining group and transient inventory controls; monitoring and adjusting pricing strategies; and maintaining distribution channel data integrity. This position reports directly to the workgroup’s Assistant Director.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Average Percent of Time 5% Planning Activities 10% Organizing Activities Position Responsibility, Duty or Task • Manages hotel and RMCC-Americas objectives by developing and executing Revenue Management strategies. • Establishes priorities and delegates work to team members accordingly. • Works with Assistant Director, Revenue Analyst, hotel staff, and corporate support staff to develop and improve strategies designed to achieve property goals. • Develops and distributes information, strategies, and new company initiatives to the hotel executive committees. • Evaluates and revises business processes to improve property market share and ensure maximum future earnings. • Adheres to HHC Corporate RM standards and Best Practices. • Works with Front Office department to establish effective high demand and sellout procedures. • Collaborates with Director of Sales to ensure appropriate guidelines and controls are in place for the sales team. • Oversees the development of the Revenue Analyst by providing instruction of multiple tasks and by offering feedback on the performance of their duties. • Establishes and maintains effective partnerships with the hotel management teams, third party internet distributors, and corporate support team to fulfill property objectives. • Provides direction and leadership to team members within the workgroup. • Collaborates with Director, Assistant Director and Training Manager on the interviewing, hiring, training, and developing of Revenue Analysts and peers. • Implements proper inventory, rate, and LOS controls using OnQ R&I, OnQ RM, and hotel sales systems to ensure maximum revenue generation. • Develops and implements pricing strategies through analysis of historic performance and competitors’ behavior. • Forecasts future performance through financial trend analysis, utilizing the Hilton suite of systems and tools. • Reviews performance statistics to determine impact of current strategies, and revise as necessary to ensure optimum revenue generation. • Conducts displacement analyses for transient and group business.

• Reviews and critiques actual performance against goals to determine strategic effectiveness and adjust accordingly. • Ensures business plans are being followed and goals are being achieved; provides feedback accordingly. • Operates within established budgetary parameters. • Conducts Revenue Management Meetings; provides critical synopsis of results and strategies from previous meetings; leads discussion on future issues such as booking pace, pricing strategies, marketing opportunities and the competitive environment; ensures pricing is consistent amongst all distribution channels and enforces standards.

Employ the assistance of the Director of Sales, Director of Front Office, Reservations Manager, Electronic Sales, and Marketing Manager as needed. Contribute to the development of the marketing plan and budget process. Maintain an organized and clean work environment. Any and all other job duties as assigned.
