STRATEGIC ANALYSIS REPORT: #Total number of new cars sold in tamilnadu during the year 2012 April to 2013 march: 164403 #Average of cars sold per month: 13,702 #Total number of new cars sold in tamilnadu during the year 2011 April to 2012 march: 154008 #Average of cars sold per month: 12834 #Growth of Sales in tamilnadu: 6.747% #in tamilnadu Chennai leads with an account of 35% sales if new cars. #Total sales: 164403 #Total percentage: 100% #Chennai account to 35% of sales: (164403*35)/100 =57541 new cars (Aprox) #Total Tamilnadu except Chennai: 164403-57541=106862 #Avg.Sales per month = 106862/12=8905(approx) #Let us assume that the percentage of people using bumpers, foot steps and carriers in their cars =65% i.e. = (8905*65)/100=5788

STRATEGIC PLANNING REPORT: With the analysis being done a SWOT analysis has been prepared for N.L.Automotives SWOT analysis (alternatively SWOT Matrix) is a structured planning method used to evaluate the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats involved in a project or in a business venture. A SWOT analysis can be carried out for a product, place, industry or person. It involves specifying the objective of the business venture or project and identifying the internal and external factors that are favorable and unfavorable to achieving that objective
STRENGTH: 1. N.L.Automotives is the only outlet to sell ATV’s in Coimbatore circle . 2. The showroom is centrally located at the place named Nava-India, which is very easy for people to identify and visit the outlet. 3. The car accessories are of very genuine quality. 4. Private label brand which is another advantage. 5. Unique designs. 6. Products are also being manufactured sold according to requirements of customers.

WEAKNESS: 1. Although Showroom is centrally located, it is not visible to all people, only people who know about the store visit the shop. 2. Price of the product is very high compared to major other brands. 3. Unable to attract the crowd towards the outlet to increase number of walk-ins. 4. People are unaware of the Product spec and usage.
OPPORTUNITIES: 1. Business can be well promoted through advertisement. 2. Labor shortage, hence a permanent mechanic can be appointed to fix accessories in time that customers purchase to provide good service that attract customers most. 3. Try to sell products without tax in order to pull customers towards our product. 4. Indulge in all types of advertisement as much as possible to make the product very familiar in the minds of the customers. 5. Create and improve the brand image of the product. 6. Make people aware of the usage, spec and the advantage of the product.

MEASURES TO IMPROVE BUSINESS: 1. Improve shop’s visibility. 2. Post Ad-Banners, Aviation Ad. 3. Collect feedback from customers to improve business by understanding their actual needs. 4. Make possible reference to all people. 5. Word of mouth. 6. Online has become one of the important sources of marketing. Hence details of our company should be available to people so the following things is to done.
