Stock Market- Is it a good source of means for small investors??

now a days it is difficult to say that.......i think small investor should stay away from stock market. only big investors can benefit from stock market.
 
Stock Market is a place where one can make money quickly with no time and also it is place one can loose money quickly. Those who invest in stock market must be more cautious and watchful the day to day movement of the market and the world. Even a heavy rainfall also may affect stock market positively or adversely. Only an expert can predict the rise and fall of the market. For example when the Bombay stock exchange (Sensex) was in its high pitch, more than 20000 points, investment Guru, Marc Faber, predicted on 25th feb, 2008 in his interview with the CNBC-TV18, that the Sensex would fall down to 12000 points. Most of the investors did not believe it. But you are aware that the Sensex came down to 12000 and then came down to bottom line around 6000 points. Yes an expert can predict the market earlier enough to do any action. An investor must foresee the market trend and the factors which affect the market. So an investor should take enough time to study the market from all available sources such as Television, Newspaper, internet and all other available sources.
 
Professional investors, investors those who consider their main source of income is from investments, have enough time to study the market well. But in case of small scale investors, investment is their side business and to get an extra income only, they may have their main business or job and has not enough time to study the stock market. If they invest in stock market without much study, it will drive out their hard earned money,
