1. Get a massage.

When we think of a spa, usually the first thing that comes to our minds is getting a massage. You get two kinds of benefits from a massage. One is that it can greatly help you relax and take your mind off work even if just for a couple of hours. Another benefit is to treat some pains in your body, especially if it is muscle related. For example if you are suffering from a stiff neck or your back is troubling you, a really good massage can help alleviate the pain.

2. Facials

There are specific facial treatments for every skin type. The therapist will first determine your skin type, whether you have dry, oily or normal skin. She will then suggest the appropriate facial for you. Of course it will still be up to you to make the decision.

3. Get a pedicure and a manicure.

For a lot of women, simply getting their nails done is already a good way to relax. Not only will their nails and feet look more presentable and beautiful, but the act of cleaning and painting the nails, at least to some, is already therapeutic.
