MDA pulls plug on The Real Singapore blog: 'Remote editors were in charge of articles that tried to impel anti-foreigner sentiment'

Singapore's media controller has suspended the permit to work of socio-political website The Real Singapore for distributed "incendiary" substance that it considered represented a risk to open request and national congruity in an offer to help activity.

In an announcement discharged by the Media Development Authority today, the guard dog asserted that the site's "outside editors" were in charge of a few articles that "tried to impel against nonnative assumptions in Singapore."

The site must be brought around 8pm today or TRS' executives could be fined S$200,000 or face up to three years in prison, the Straits Times is reporting.

Overhaul: 8.10pm. The site has gone logged off.
