In 2003, JCU opened its first offshore campus in Singapore, forming JCU Singapore. A comprehensive range of facilities is available at the campus – lecture and tutorial rooms equipped with modern teaching technology, computer laboratories with broadband internet access, wireless internet-enabled floors, student lounge, cafeteria and library. Students studying at JCUS can be assured of the same quality and enriching university education as their Australian peers.

Currently, JCU Singapore offers programs to students from all JCU Faculties, the Faculty of Law, Business and Creative Arts, the Faculty of Arts, Education and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Information Technology and the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Molecular Sciences to come.

The city campus is centrally located and easily accessible by both private and public transport. The community library, food centres and convenience stores are within easy walking distance.

JCUS Facilities

Facilities and Services at JCUS

JCUS provide students withaccess to the JCUS library resource centre as well as free gold membership at the Singapore National Library Board (NLB).


Wireless networking of thecampus enables students toaccess internet services. Free use of computer units is provided within the JCUS resource centre and the various computer laboratories.


personal counselling services by qualified psychologists are available at minimal fees for Students at the JCUS Psychology Clinic.

Food on Campus
JCUS has a cafeteria offering a wide varieties of food and drink at reasonable prices for students and staff of JCUS. The cafeteria is Halal certified. Vending machines are located at various locations around the campus providing light snacks and hot/cold drinks.

Religious Requirements
Students may use the syndicate rooms as multi-denominational prayer facilities for any and all religions.

Accommodation
JCUS is committed to the comfort and safety for students and thus provides the following information to assist students finding accommodation. JCUS will assist in identifying suitable accommodation and in locations that offer good accessibility to the campus as well as educational and recreational amenities.

Please note that rental costs exclude registration fee & board and are subject to a minimum contractual period. the rental agreement is strictly between the student and the accommodation provider. Students are required to complete and return the Accommodation Confirmation Form and send it to JCUS together with the signed Student Contract.
