What ya think, do the schools even have a right to push this more then from a "learning point"?
If the schools did take more of an active role in promoting virginity until marriage, do you think this would have any type of impact to slow the teenage pregnancy rate down and lower the STD contraction rates? Would it help the students academically with achieving better grades?
comes, get out a pencil and say your 10 hail Marys because you might experience a bumpy ride.
If you really want to learn about how our country came to be, then fine, make it equivalent to a language course, Spanish I, Spanish II. Could we end History for kids after middle school?

Both Bill Clinton and George W Bush funded school programmes promoting virginity, though the public health benefits remain disputed statistics show teenagers who receive such education do indeed tend to delay having sex, but are less likely to use contraception when they get round to it.

In my opinion, if the school decides to go beyond the classic "Reading, Writing and Arithmetic" it should do so in a responsible way and aware of what it is getting into. When ethics, morals, traditions and religion start to get involved and there is no clear "right" or "wrong" point of view then the only right thing any unbiased educational institution can do is offer a balanced overview of the pros and cons of each side and let the students decide on their own. Only in this way can we be guaranteed that individual rights and freedoms are maintained on equal levels of importance.
