Normal maths should be compulsory. But as a subject for the exams, it should not be a compulsory subject.

Normal maths means which is very useful for regular life and it can be more interesting for the students. There are so many lines where maths' use is 0%. And if student is interested in maths, there is no question of compulsary or optional.

The problem is, most of the teachers cant make it interesting. It is teacher's task to make maths beautiful. If teacher will give something good to student, they will response very well.

every guy needs maths in his lyf as it is important to know abt certain things for arriving at a decision

yes definitely, maths is only subject which helps you to develop both knowledge and interest....... but many students want to avoid this subject because it is very difficult to write stories in this subject and it will give the instant results wheather our approach to the problem is right or wrong.... but for me maths is very interesting subject ,if we did with confidence..............

As a number cruncher,I would say Maths must be made a compulsory subject. The subject itself is beautiful.Maths comes only to person who can understand it.There can't be any rote learning for this subject. If you have interest in the subject,u can't live without maths.

No matter if it should be necessary or not. I believe we should not force anyone to learn a subject which they feel boring. Rather the most important is that we need to encourage them what they are interested in. We should remember that each one of us is not best suited for math that may lead to the lack of confidence for them.
