Should fathers be always strict to children

We always have a very strict and a disciplined image about our father....... and our lovely mom is always sweet and silent

Do you think fathers always have to be strict with the children ....

No they should be frank enough and grant some liberty so that child shouldn't feel conjusted in the arms of his own parents..

Nope. Fathers should not be strict ALWAYS. We have a image that mom's are silent and sweet but at some point we tend to forget that fathers are sweet too...

They are strict to us for the fact being they know what life is.. and they should be strict sometimes so that we, as children become more self - reliant and have a means to survive and thrive in this harsh world.

I have experienced a little fact that mom's are very much attached to their sons and Dad's to their daughter. So, for son their dad is a strict personality and for daughter's its their mom

I think our society is developing more and more competing and it will be progressively tougher for kids to be successful at a later time in life. A child's achievements will rely on how strict his or her mother and father are. A strict parent enables their kids for getting better marks in school, and become more accountable.
