A skimpily-clad babe, a hunk with an Australian surfer's body, a woman with strange attitude and a couple canoodling - all are on the hoardings everywhere, nearest to ur place...........

BMCs plan to do away with obscene billboards that could literally drive motorists to death ........

So what's ur say on it?

Should BMC ban these racy billboards?

Hoardings with images of half-naked women are obscene. These have a bad influence on the children. These images provoke people to act indecently. After seeing girls dressed in a wrong (provocative) way, children might get influenced........... also may be encouraged to do wrong things........

There is a state govt. rule which doesn't allow content related to cigarettes and liquor on billboards/hoardings. So there should be separate regulation, which bans these obscene contents.

On the other hand, i wud like to say that - some hoardings r a distraction but they are certainly not as obscene as some programmes on TV. Some racy and obscene billboards are a distraction and should be banned in order to reduce accidents arrising out of carelessness from driver............

So we need a committee to censor all these hoardings and billboards before they are passed by the BMC.......

hmmmm hey i have never heard of an accident due to billboards ......
n about the children gettin influnced they r inquisitive they do find out things one way or other way
billboards should not be alone blamed for this ......
obsence movies r allowed censorship then why billboards should be banned
u dont have problem with malika sherwat sheddin off her clothes on tv ...... n u object if the same thing is on the board .....

there are better things for Bmc to do rather than on billboards. They can concentrate on potholes that are the cause of accidents for motorists
