Should AIDS drugs be made cheaper for developing countries?

The countries with the biggest AIDS problems are held as a captive market and are forced essentially to pay whatever the drug companies demand for their products. These poor nations are thus justified in using the threat of generic drugs to force the companies to lower their prices
 
An extreme of africans cannot pay for this because over half of them are in very low poverty who cannot even afford loaf of bread have the most horiffic feeling that if these prices do not go.
