It is misunderstood with being called as Southernmost point of Africa but the southernmost point is Cape Agulhas. Here the two water currents the warm current from Indian ocean (Agulhas current) with the cold current of Atlantic ocean called Beneguela current . The meeting point fluctuates between oen kilometer in either direction.
