There is no such bar on settlement be made through the Union. The registration of a union in the establishment, however, does not take away right of any workman or group of workman, which may or may not be in majority, to enter into any settlement with the management which may be binding upon them. In such case participation of workmen-union is not necessary. A management can either into a settlement with group of workman, which may or may not form majority without inviting the workmen-union to participate in the negotiation. Such a negotiation and settlement will not violated the principal of collective bargaining.
