Why Entrepreneurship?
Grand Valley is a major player within the Michigan entrepreneurial ecosystem. The Grand Valley Chapter Collegiate Entrepreneur
Organization is an award-winning group of entrepreneurs and you can be a part of it!
This major offers students a business education with a focus on the issues involved in both starting a business as well as fostering
innovation in a corporate setting. Companies are looking for employees who can execute, gather information, make decisions,
manage resources, solve problems, and innovate.
You will pair your Entrepreneurship major with one additional Seidman major such as Accounting, Business Economics, Finance,
Human Resource Management, Management (general or with an Information Systems emphasis), Marketing (general or with an
emphasis in distribution and logistics or sales), Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management.
Entrepreneurship majors study a variety of topics, including business modeling, creativity, feasibility analysis, funding sources, new
product development, new venture launch, and pitch deck development.
