Safar hai Badhiya

guyz, although may seem silly , but there oppurtunities everywhere.

the raiway stations are always jam packed. and when you want to buy a ticket you wont be spared of hassles.

hence one should open a private counter like the PCO's guys to sell coupon which be sold on smaller divisible amounts.

hope this will save a lot of time.

gr8 idea but the biggest defect would be that it mite lead 2 piracy . and instead of selling coupons first, dont u think that the railways should better the cvm coupon validiating machines.

piracy doesnt start there becoz the tickets are sold by railways in their premises only. once out they mite result in piracy. good idea. but not feasible enuf according 2 me.

u need 2 improve other ailway services also in order 2 do so.
and btw do u think that such step will affect the railway profits. definately no. then y would railways come wid such a heavy investment

plus internet reservations will give u competition... but yes the biggest problem would be duplicate tickets
also, how much money is railways going to lose - will the let other dealers sell the ticket (and hence part with profits) or will they open the PCOs themselves (and will incur huge costs)

the major problem of availing tickets at PCO n other public places will lead to vast distribution and data collection and ticket blacking will also increase. i think making it available in post offices will be much more feasible than in PCOs
