As you all know an announcement has been made by the ICC that "SACHIN'S BIRTHDAY WILL BE CELEBRATED AS THE WORLD CRICKET DAY".
People usually get such recognition after their retirement and very late in their lives. For example take Sir Don Bradman, Sachin getting such recognition when he is still very actively in service is a very great feat.
Considering his staggering profile I feel this is more than justified. And at this point we can safely say that his records might not be broken at all anytime the numbers are simply unbelievable lest achievable. And I wish he stays for many more years and am sure he'll recieve a lot more accolades.
