CMuralitharan says
"I read in the newspapers somewhere recently that a boy in Mumbai scored 400odd runs. The papers said he's going to be the next Sachin. How can anyone say that?" an incredulous Sri Lankan spin wizard Muttiah Muralitharan asks as the Indian master batsma...

yes i totally agree a batsman like Sachin is born not once in a century but once in a millenium. I wish Sachin ngoes on 2 play 4 India for another 10n years.

I think so, but the biggest achievement for him would be winning World Cup 2011. Frankly speaking, Indian Bowling attack is not good enough to support this legend. Ultimately cricket is a team game.

not will..sachin has set legendry record..for any1 to reach tht wil b impossible...as muralidharan has said ..sachin is born in centuries

I feel Sachin's record will never be breached by anyone in International Cricket especially finishing 20 years. For someone to do like that, he has to get into ODI by atleast age of 17, which is next to impossible in todays competitive situation.

nothng is impossible as we knw now cricket is happening more frequently there r chances that new budding young player can break his record dnt become emotional.

it ill be broken soon by ponting in the next 3 years

No buddy, its really really hard for ricky or anyone to break Sachin;s record.
Leave breaking record, nobody can reach near sachin until n unless he plays good cricket from scratch at age of 17.

Sachin is legendry n his hunger for runs u must have seen in hyderabad.

Just review his records again n think again buddy

All about Sachin Tendulkar

Sachin has already been Judged as the greatest batsmen to play the game of cricket . The standards set by him may be matched but his class elegance and enthusiasm towards the game can never be paralleled or equaled

the level of passion with which he plays the game is remarkable, even at this age he is as commited as he was at 17.

sachin's record though is not unachievable..but it requires patience, clamness and talent in the right ratio...

I get what ur sayin but in the present situation no one will get close, to that - especially with 20-20 cricket around, ppl would prefer playing 20 over matches.
