Rupee got it symbol

IIT-ian D Udaya presented Symbol of Rupee. He says that his designed is based on the tricolors which represent the Indian Flag and it is perfect blend of Indian and Roman letter ie a capital 'R', and Devanagari 'ra' which represent rupiya, to appeal to international and Indian audiences

Finally, the Rupee has a symbol like other major global currencies

Finally Indian Rupee getting a symbol makes me proud to be associated with internationally

well most of d countries have their unique symbol for their countrys currency ,, thn why not india.... grt
