Rupee on tuesday appreciated by 12 paose against US to Rs. 46.68 a doller in early trade, supported by fresh capital inflows by foriegn funds. The rupee had closed 3 paise higher at 47.12/13 a dollar yesterday
The fresh capital inflow into equities by foriegn funds resulted in the appreciation. Firming Asian currencies against the dollar also boosted the rupee sentiment.
