Yesterday?s play Black Comedy was a delightful comedy of errors brought to life on stage by the intrepid actors and actresses of IIMA. The production team of the play flawlessly translated Peter Shaffer?s original innovative stage lighting to suit the RJMCEI stage. The actors and actresses were at their comic best and the audience of 200 strong students and members of the IIMA community was constantly in splits over their antics. Overall, the play was extremely well received by everyone present. Professor MM Monippally said, “I thoroughly enjoyed Black Comedy and heartily congratulate all those who were a part of the play.”
The remaining plays promise to be just as entertaining and the IIMA community is greatly looking forward to them. “All aspects of the plays from the music to lighting are managed by the IIMA students. This not only allows us to continue with a hobby which we love but also teaches us time management as we balance academics with creative pursuits”, said Smruti Soni, the Coordinator of IIMACTS. Undoubtedly, the IIMA campus is enriched and enlivened by such cultural and creative ventures of the students
