The cost of one's life is the oneself, not the other ones. Therefore, they have the right to die as they have the right to live. There must be certain reasons if they wants to kill themselves and the people around the one should be responsible for one's death.

On the flip side, There are certain things that society must value as inviolable. The dignity of life is one of those things. Outlawing suicide helps upholds this general idea of the dignity of life.

Without such an expression of dignity, individuals would devalue life, and murder - among other things - would likely become more prevalent.
 
As a general principle, individuals should be free to commit any act that only affects themselves, does not directly harm other citizens, and that does not damage to their surrounding environment. Suicide is one of those acts. In so far as it harms only the individual involved, the state should not intervene or make illegal.
 
The right to die is a concept based on the opinion that human beings are entitled to end their life or undergo voluntary euthanasia. Possession of this right is often understood that a person with a terminal illness, or without the will to continue living, should be allowed to end their own life, use assisted suicide, or to decline life-prolonging treatment. The question of whom, if anyone, should be empowered to make this decision is often central to the debate.
