Dear All

can someone tell me how do the following sites earn their revenue from

* compareindia.com
*productsearch.rediff.com

these are basically product comparison sites

also, is it a good idea to have just product comparison and referrals or to have a dedicated payment gateway in e-retailing models ?

I have told to conduct a study and present with justification !

Need some help....!!!

Kds..

Compare India - Locate a dealer

Check out the locate dealers section. Compreindia basically acts as a middle man to connect buyers with sellers and while it makes money from buyers by slapping google ads on their site, it makes money from sellers for Paid listings .

There is also a possibility of making significant revenue by getting advertising deals directly from companies to feature their products.

Rediff on the other hand uses its own pay4clicks advertising model to make money instead of google adsense.
