Reserve Bank of India to reduce its policy interest rate by 25 basis points

Reserve Bank of India is expected to reduce its policy interest rate by 25 basis points in a policy review this month.

Apparently they think the inflation has slowed down.

Feels ridiculous to me. What do the you guys think ? Any finance whiz in here?
