Abstract “Let Your Subconscious Mind Power Go to Work for You”
Many people believe that their beliefs are based on reality, when, in fact, their reality is the result of what they believe. Your body responds to what your mind dictates, but most of the time it does so on a subconscious level. Every person regardless of background, education, or social status has enormous mental capacity that he or she habitually fails to use. There is no problem you cannot solve or overcome and no goal you cannot achieve when you learn how to unleash the power of your subconscious mind and use it to its full capacity. You have only one mind, but that one amazing mind possesses two distinct parts: the conscious and the subconscious. You could say that the conscious mind is the master of the subconscious. However, the subconscious has the real power because it is the part of the mind that initiates change in our lives. Only a small percentage of people ever discover the subconscious mind, understand how it works, and then learn how to use it to achieve complete success . What does it take to realize each of our total potentials, and why do we sometimes succeed and at other times find only disappointing results? The subconscious mind represents our true personality, which wishes and waits to be brought forth, only if we allow them. Thus this research paper based on primary data which is sampled from Management Business School. and also explains the techniques to connect with subconscious mind.

Introduction Many people believe that their beliefs are based on reality, when, in fact, their reality is the result of what they believe. Only a small percentage of people ever discover the subconscious mind, understand how it works, and then learn how to use it to achieve complete success in whatever they set out to accomplish in life. When you learn how to use your subconscious mind properly, you can bring into your life more power, more wealth, better health, more happiness, and overall success. Let us understand the concept of subconscious mind.

Objectives of the study: The main objective of the study is 1. To understand the types of mind and concept of subconscious mind. 2. To get acquaintance with process of subconscious mind. 3. To know how it will be applicable in our day to day routine work for more success. 4. To find out the most prominent areas of dissatisfaction in students. 5. To enhance the communication and cooperation ,interlinking between conscious and subconscious mind

Literature review: In the research paper ?Lacan's linguistic unconscious‘ Jacques Lacan's psychoanalytic theory contends that the unconscious is structured like a language. The unconscious, Lacan argued, was not a more primitive or archetypal part of the mind separate from the conscious, linguistic ego, but rather, a formation every bit as complex and linguistically sophisticated as consciousness itself.[1] While, historically, the psychoanalytic research tradition was the first to focus on the phenomenon of unconscious mental activity, there is an extensive body of conclusive research and knowledge in contemporary cognitive psychology devoted to the mental activity that is not mediated by conscious awareness Most of that (cognitive) research on unconscious processes has been done in the mainstream, academic tradition of the information processing paradigm. As opposed to the psychoanalytic tradition, driven by the relatively speculative (in the sense of being hard to empirically verify), theoretical concepts such as the Oedipus complex or Electra complex, the cognitive tradition of research on unconscious processes is based on relatively few theoretical assumptions and is very empirically oriented (i.e., it is mostly data driven). Cognitive research has revealed that automatically, and clearly outside of conscious awareness, individuals register and acquire more information than what they can experience through their conscious thoughts. (See Augusto, 2010, for a recent comprehensive survey.)[2] An extensive line of research conducted by Hasher and Zacks has demonstrated that individuals register information about the frequency of events automatically (i.e., outside of conscious awareness and without engaging conscious information processing resources). Moreover, perceivers do this unintentionally, truly "automatically," regardless of the instructions they receive, and regardless of the information processing goals they have. Interestingly, the ability to unconsciously and relatively accurately tally the frequency of events appears to have little or no relation to the individual's age,

education, intelligence, or personality, thus it may represent one of the fundamental building blocks of human orientation in the environment and possibly the acquisition of procedural knowledge and experience, in general.[3]

Research Methodology: The quality and reliability of research study is dependent on the information collected in a scientific and methodological manner. Scientific planning of designing of research method is blue print of any research study so proper attention and time has been given to design the plan of the research. So, data gathered from post graduate students to take awareness percentage of concept of subconscious mind while conducting a session of meditation in organization and taking a feedback of emotional feelings changed by using questionnaire and observation study. Also, take a help of on line database study, research articles, research surveys to know conceptual process of subconscious mind and how it works practically.

Discussion : The first question that we can ask ourselves that ?why do we work hard?? And the simple answer for this is for success, happiness and to get peace.

The second one is ?what are the tools to get this all? again the simple answer is we are using our tools of BODY& MIND POWER .we always refines our body with proper nutritious food, exercise, and sufficient rest.

Now what are the tools to refine our mind always and those should be our positive attitude, visualization, relaxation,

inspirational reading and training of self development.(Source:Dr.Jitendra Adhia)

But to do all this it is necessary to know what is mind and what are types of mind. The founder of psychoanalytic theory was Sigmund Freud.[3] While his theories were considered shocking at the time and continue to create debate and controversy, his work had a profound influence on a number of disciplines, including psychology, sociology, anthropology, literature, and art.The term psychoanalysis is used to refer to many aspects of Freud‘s work and research, including Freudian therapy and the research methodology he used to develop his theories. Freud relied heavily upon his observations and case studies of his patients when he formed his theory of personality development. Before we can understand Freud's theory of personality, we must first understand his view of how the mind is organized. According to Freud, the mind can be divided into two main parts: 1. The conscious mind includes everything that we are aware of. This is the aspect of our mental processing that we can think and talk about rationally. A part of this includes our memory, which is not always part of

consciousness but can be retrieved easily at any time and brought into our

awareness. Freud called this ordinary memory the

preconscious.

2. The unconscious mind is a reservoir of feelings, thoughts, urges, and memories that outside of our conscious awareness. Most of the contents of the unconscious are unacceptable or unpleasant, such as feelings of pain, anxiety, or conflict. According to Freud, the unconscious continues to influence our behavior and experience, even though we are unaware of these underlying influences.

Psychoanalytic

the

and

unconscious mind is often explained using an iceberg metaphor. Conscious awareness is the tip of the iceberg, while the unconscious is represented by the ice hidden below the surface of the water.

Many experts claim that most of us use only ten percent of our subconscious mind. Some may find this hard to believe since the subconscious mind makes up an estimated 92% of the total brain, while the conscious mind makes up the remaining 8% (The Genie Within, 2005). Before we can tap into the powers of our subconscious mind, we must first learn exactly what the terms conscious and subconscious refer to. A basic dictionary definition describes the conscious as "that part of a person's mental activity of which he or she is

fully aware at any given time". The subconscious is defined as "occurring without the conscious perception or only, with a slight perception on the part of the individual". Most of our brain's activity does not occur consciously. It is our responsibility to understand Freud's theory of personality. So what exactly we can say “The Subconscious Mind Projects What The Conscious Mind Perceives.” The Subconscious Mind is directly connected to Source and has access to infinite energy and resources to create the images and experiences we call "life" and "the real world".

There is only one subconscious Mind projecting the Universe. The One Mind can project itself simultaneously as infinite conscious minds, or perceivers, that appear to be separate. In this way, the One Mind can experience itself from infinite points of view within its creations. The conscious Mind is the perceiver, and is known through the five senses operating in partnership with the brain. The Mind, as we know, exists outside of time and space and does not exist within the body or the brain. The conscious Mind perceives the images of body and brain that are being projected by the subconscious. The True relationship between conscious and subconscious Mind is a feedback loop. Each point of consciousness in creation sends feedback to the subconscious aspect of the Mind in the form of images it perceives and the feelings experienced with each image. This feedback loop of energy and information allows the Mind to experience, learn, grow and expand. The One Mind is but one corner of the triangle of Creation; the remaining two corners being Body and Spirit. Mind, Body and Spirit are three aspects of Creation, the focal point of which is found in the zero point of the Heart. By the time the Conscious Mind perceives anything; it has already been created and projected. Even thoughts that we believe are "creative" in nature are in Truth an effect of subconscious Mind. However, without the process of perceiving, sensing, feeling and giving meaning to experience there would be no feedback loop, and no ever-expanding growth of Consciousness in our Universe. The "two minds" are but One Mind; One Mind being but one corner of the Creative Triangle. A Mind without Spirit is on autopilot, lacking guidance, and creating ever increasing illusion of separation and fear. A Mind with Spirit is a Mind with Heart, guided by love and inspiration, and creating ever expanding Truth and Joy. The mind body connection is the interaction of mental, emotional and physical aspects of the human life experience.

Thoughts, feelings and emotions are "non-physical" in the sense that no one has ever seen, heard, smelled, tasted or touched a thought or feeling. However, no one can deny that what we think and feel can have a powerful impact on our physical bodies, our actions, and the physical results in our environment. The mind is a tricky thing. Some say the mind is a result of electrical activity in the brain. Others believe the mind exists outside of the body and affects the brain, causing the electromagnetic activity that we can observe with technology. Either way, the mind is not something we can point to and say, "There it is"! The body, on the other hand, is not only observable, but very intimate. The impact of the mind body connection is immediate and personal. With our bodies we can sense the nature of our thoughts and feel the nature of our emotions. The body transforms the nonphysical. The word "Mind" is a noun in sentences, so when we talk about "IT," we naturally tend to imagine IT to be an IT — but of course IT is not. Again, Minding is a verb-activity of awareness, perception, and thinking. Since "Mind" is not a THING or an IT, and clearly no one has ever seen, tasted or touched a Mind, let alone a Sub-Conscious Mind, this means that the so-called "sub-conscious mind" is just a theoretical construct — the creation of one psychological perspective. Because the body has a Brain Stem that drives the autonomic nervous system, automatically controlling body functions like breathing and heart-beat, some psychologists theorize the parallel existence of "Subconscious Mind" that directs habitual behavior.

Here's an alternative way of conceiving this issue: the empirically provable reality to which Subconscious Mind refers is this: Human Beings behave in ways that are often NOT chosen in the moment — people often act UnConsciously and Habitually. Thinking IS mental behavior. Eckhart Tolle said this about thinking:

"The greater part of most people's thinking is involuntary, automatic, and repetitive. It is no more than a kind of mental static and fulfills no real purpose. Strictly speaking, you don't think: Thinking happens to you. The statement "I think" implies volition. It implies that you have a say in the matter, that there is choice involved on your part. For most people, this is not the case. "I think" is just as false a statement as "I digest" or "I circulate my blood." Digestion happens, circulation happens, thinking happens." Eckhart is not speaking of ALL people, rather, "the greater part of most people." Tolle's words confirm the trap I call Einstein's Mind Bind [4]: "We cannot solve our problems at the same level of thinking which existed when the problem was created." Said another way: Tigers will always act and think like Tigers — until they Change Their Stripes! Because people act and react in unwitting ways, some theorize the existence of a "subconscious mind" that is in-charge of, and supposedly drives and stores, unconscious behavior. Here's the problem with this theory: Exactly WHO ultimately chooses the contents and habits of a supposed Sub-Conscious Mind? Answer: It is YOU . . . YOU determine the contents of your Subconscious Mind (if there really were one). For this reason, I simply skip over talk of Sub-Conscious Mind entirely . . . and focus directly upon YOU -- the person endowed with Free Will. The assumed existence of a Subconscious Mind IS a deeply rooted and widely accepted assumption of popular psychology. Thus, I'm swimming against the swift current of pervasive norms by suggesting this alternative explanation. In the end, "Sub-Conscious Mind" is an unnecessary layer of language for conceiving and explaining behavior — especially when one accepts that mortals are agentive beings endowed by their Creator with free will. The theory of ?Sub-Conscious Mind" is more compatible with Evolutionary Determinism — man as an "animal" who has instincts implanted in a supposed Subconscious Mind. Reality is NOT established by exploring the implications of words and then wrapping reality around what words may suggest (though

we do this all the time); instead, Reality is best described through systematic observation of direct, face-to-face, empirical experience — and from this living-breathing experience, we shape words around REALITY, not vice versa. Note: Spiritual experience can also be empirical: for example, we don't have to visually SEE wind, to empirically SEE branches and leaves moving in a breeze, and thus, correctly conclude that Wind is the cause of it. It is also essentials to know what work done by coucious and subconscious mind. Powers of conscious mind are our sensations, our movements, analysis,

thinking,

logics,

interpretation, intelligence, identifying and seizing opportunities, judging, decision making, but the subconscious mind has some shortcomings that it acts faster on negative commands,it dose not understand the jokes, also acts on the commands given by others and at last when command is given to

subconscious mind it can not be withdrawn.

The

differentiation

points of conscious and subconscious

minds are

Some say that it is that part of the mind that lies dormant as we go about doing our daily work. Others say that it is the counterpart of our conscious mind that is active while we are sleeping. Those who believe in subconscious mind say that it gives us a peek into our desires and ambitions that we secretly hold, some of which eludes even our consciousness. Although a foolproof definition of the subconscious mind hasn't yet been achieved, its power has been acknowledged by mankind for long. No empirical proof has been found, but the subconscious mind has found mention centuries ago in various cultures of the world and meditation is just one of the techniques that our ancestors used as an exercise for subconscious mind control.

Although development in the field of science and technology had diverted human attention more towards empirical attributes of the universe, subconscious mind power and control has seen renewed interest in recent decades. Here are a few subconscious mind exercises and techniques that help us to connect to the voice of the subconscious.

Ways to Talk to Your Subconscious Mind 1. What Do You Desire? In order to be able to actually watch your dreams come true, you must be aware of what your heart really desires. You will need to make a mental or written list of all the things that you want. These wishes must be honest and from the very depth of your heart. The list must comprise of how you would like to see your life. These wishes need not be futuristic, and can be those which you desire in the present. All in all, you simply have to clear your mind and come up with a few concise and clear wishes. For instance, if you are unemployed; begin by truly wishing for a job which will pay you well and give you mental satisfaction. Ask for a job which you have always desired for, and could never have.

2. Think of Realistic Goals Your goals and aspirations must be realistic, attainable, and practical for you to achieve and manage. Only then can you make the first step towards trying to attain your dream. For instance, if you wish to make dancing your career, you must firstly be talented enough to take dancing as a profession. If you know you are not as talented as expected, then you must not waste your time seeking impractical dreams. However, if you know you are really talented, ask your subconscious mind to believe it even more, and ask for opportunities from the universe. The universe will bring your wish to you. How that may happen, is not for you to decide or bother about. All you need to do is ask for a direct and clear wish. 3. Self Affirmation You will need to keep reminding yourself about the things you want. You will need to keep asking and reminding yourself about what you desire and expect from yourself. For instance, if you feel you are not good looking enough and feel ugly and insignificant, you will need to tell yourself that you are attractive in your own unique way. You will need to self affirm this thought, by using the words; 'I', 'Me', 'My', 'Mine', and recite affirmations such as: I am attractive and I am special, just the way everyone else is. My existence is my own, and I have the inner strength to stay positive. This is a form of self hypnosis which you can practice throughout the day and at night before sleeping. Trust me, you will begin to feel more confident about yourself with every passing day. 4. Imagine What You Desire When you are asking for a wish from yourself or things beyond your reach, always remember to imagine it. This simply means that you need to visualize yourself living your dream or actually being or doing what you ask for. For instance, taking the example of you wishing to become a dancer. You must visualize yourself participating in a live audition, performing brilliantly, and actually getting selected. This is a form of daydreaming which helps keep our

hopes and dreams alive. When you visualize, try to feel every aspect of your thought, as if you are taking active part in it. Imagine yourself to be physically present and practicing your wish. Let this remain in your mind, and you do not need to move your body in any way. Simply meditate in a quiet place, and visualize. 5. Pen Your Thoughts Down Write down everything that you expect from yourself and your life in a diary or a journal. Let this diary be accessible only and only to you. This is a book of secrets, which no one must have access to, except you. Only your positive energies must flow through the pages. Always try to keep your diary and your mind recharged with happy vibes. Record the changes you have noticed in your attitude and incidences which occurred that positively affected you. Write these down on a daily basis. Be observant and in sync with your mood and thoughts at all times. 6. Be Patient & Optimistic In order to improve your subconscious mind, you need to be very patient, calm, and continually positive about everything that is happening in your life. Take every aspect positively and take lessons from them, even though they may seem disadvantageous to you. Understand that, like everything else in this world, the bad moments too will pass, and good things will come your way. Keep sending out good vibes to yourself, to the universe, and even to others that you seek from or care about

How to talk to your subconscious mind is a matter of personal choice. Nonetheless, these are simply suggestions, which have worked for millions of people around the world. How you communicate with your subconscious may differ, but the end goal is to achieve a state of well-being and peace.

Subconscious Mind Exercises and Techniques Meditation: It is believed that meditation is a mode through which we communicate with our subconscious mind. While we meditate, we aim to relieve our mind of all distractions. We try to calm our conscious mind by bringing all our thoughts together to some particular object. As we do this we attune ourselves to the voice of our subconscious mind that so often gets stifled by our conscious mind. For doing this, sit in a place where there would be minimum distraction and concentrate on some particular object in your mind. Initially start with just 10 minutes of meditation. Then increase it with practice. You could also practice meditation while lying in bed, just before going off to sleep. Self Hypnosis: Self hypnosis is a mode through which the subconscious mind communicates with our conscious mind. During hypnotism, our mind becomes calm and we are able to concentrate better on what our subconscious mind has to say. As we listen to our subconscious mind during hypnosis, our conscious mind becomes aware of what its quiet counterpart has to say and once we wake up, we follow what the conscious mind learned about our real desires from the subconscious mind during hypnosis. More on self hypnosis techniques. Visualization: This is believed to be most effective subconscious mind control exercise. This exercise involves seeing oneself in a role that one aspires to become. This technique is commonly used by sportspersons to improve their skills and is done just before going to the field to play their sport. Scientific research has shown that brain waves while visualization and while an individual actually performs the act, are the same. This means that our brain cannot differentiate between whether we are imagining or doing it for real, it reacts with equal fervor in either case. Positive Self Affirmation: Say these things to yourself:
? ?

I AM the best. I CAN do that.

? ?

I WILL succeed. I WILL be happy.

These are positive self affirmations that you could use so as to train your subconscious mind to believe that you can achieve success. Self affirmations done in this way is a way of communicating and imprinting in the subconscious mind that you will succeed in whatever endeavor you chose to indulge in. Use Vision Actively: Other than just repeating the self affirmations verbally, one can also write them down on a sheet of paper and stick or hang them at such a place that the words can be seen by an individual frequently throughout the day. In place of these sayings, one can also use posters or pictures that denote some form of achievement or success. You could also put the picture of your ideal who inspires you. These are options to train your subconscious mind to boost your confidence. Intuition: We all have felt a feeble voice inside our heads that keeps nagging at us not to indulge in a particular act. We often neglect it and through the consequence of our act, we later realize that we should have listened to that voice! This is another aspect that science has not been able to explain. Nevertheless we call it intuition, that always seems to know what is right for us. Many believe that this is the voice of our subconscious mind communicating with us. The more we stifle it, the more feeble it becomes. To strengthen this voice, listen to it and try to think why is that voice speaking to you like that. Understand Your Dreams: If intuition is the auditory means of the subconscious mind communicating with you, then dreams are its visual counterpart. To understand what your subconscious mind is trying to tell you, write down your dream every time you see one. Over time, you may be able find a pattern in your dreams that may have some specific meaning. Stream of Consciousness Writing: Sit with pen and a piece of paper. Ensure that your mind is in a calm state. Write down whatever comes to your mind.

Do not try to influence your thoughts. Initially the thoughts would be that of the conscious mind. However, after sometime the conscious thoughts would be replaced by those of the subconscious mind. Altered states can be used to accentuate any value system. They are also the places to find inspiration, novel connections and recollections that make new ideas possible. Once an altered state has been experienced, by whatever means, it becomes easier for the functional equivalent to be created in the non-altered states. An altered state is a perspective. If it doesn‘t ultimately reconcile with the perspectives of the individual‘s other states, then we have all the pre-requisites for mental illness. The most important thing to consider in designing altered states sessions is that some type of continuous consciousness has to be maintained in order for the content of the altered state to be recalled. Getting into a deep theta or delta state isn‘t difficult. Most do it every night. The trick is to let all the autonomic functions free-fall into deep sleep while leaving sparks of consciousness intact in all the vital places to see what happens, and very frequently, influence the sequences of perceptions. Whatever state you seek, the session is only part of the setting. Whatever symbols you identify with, they can be correctly used to support the objective of the session. Candle colours, incense, fabrics and furnishings, tools and rituals, mantra/prayer, posture, and so on. A Roman Catholic or Anglican Mass is an excellent example of the effectiveness of identifying mental states with full sets of sensual inputs, ritualised actions and recitation/repetition – the same techniques can be used to reinforce any perspective/belief. If you want to create a particular inner experience, then be prepared to use everything at your disposal to engage every aspect of your thought with related sensations, recollections and associations. It is very easy to apply more meaning than can be justified to an altered-state experience. As all the states, altered and otherwise, align on a common

perspective the individual begins to experience the unity implicit in most ?higher? understandings. Quality of this information… mostly optimistic extrapolation of absolutely reliable techniques and verifiable history supported by personal experience. Conclusion: The subconscious mind exercises and techniques mentioned above are practiced by many and they are known to have brought result. However, in order to have subconscious mind control through these techniques, one needs to have patience. It's not easy to quieten the conscious mind and be able to hear the voice of the subconscious mind. It is only through a lot of practice that one may be able to see any results. At each moment of the day your brain is operating in the mode it has been trained to apply to the circumstances. An altered state is any resulting from an act of will, be it a mental practice, a physical stress or stimulation, or the ingestion of substances, that causes the brain to operate in a mode other than that which it would ?choose? of its own accord.
