CRM is not simply a buzzword or business jargon, it is a new term given to an old concept that stresses the importance of relationships in transactions between individuals.


The foundations of modern business began with the barter system, in which goods were exchanged between people on the basis of mutual value.


Therefore mutual value was the basis for every transaction that took place in a marketplace.


The repetition of these transactions developed into long-term supply and demand relationships between the individuals concerned.
