Rejection of Violence

Today while i was travelling i heard a group of females discussing that person named XYZ was hit by 10 people. He has been admitted in a hospital and is serious.

In a country like India where we call Mahatma Gandhi a father of Nation and who always propagated "NON VIOLENCE"

Is rejection of violence a valid principle to live?

Violence or rejection of violence should never be a option for anybody.....

But in todays time were everyone has his /her own sets of problem or worries noone is actually bothered if any body is hit by another person.......

Although this is a wrong attitude of people but the mere idea that if they interfere will lead to police investigation and lots of time.......

I was a pacifist and didn't believe in fighting years ago. I learned aggressive people will usually be more aggressive to pacifists and usually do two outcomes. The agressor will return to use the pacifist as the example to maintain their look of power and secondly others will pile on.

You must be willing to fight for what you value and believe or will lose it. Self-defense is important. Bad people have no boundaries as law doesn't matter and neither do you. Fighting isn't wrong. Pacificism is my opinion is a mistake. Being an ENFJ I don't like conflict but that doesn't mean you stand down always. Being completely submissive will foster only more problems.

Yeah, I remember a case that recently happened in Delhi, in Khan market, where the fight of two people reached to such a point that a person shot the other! I feel it is ridiculous!!
