Reg. UG/61 which is known as Scaling down is being opposed by a lot of colleges. Students are protesting against this regulation. This regulation scales down the internal marks of the students who failed to score equally well in the externals. This regulation was passed by the Mumbai University to stop the malpractices which the colleges do to pass their students by giving them high marks in internals and the students hardly manage to pass in the externals.
