NEW DELHI : One lakh twenty seven thousand and twenty three (127023 ) currency contracts were traded on the National Stock Exchange on Wednesday with a best buying price of Rs 47.9225 and selling price of Rs 50 as against the RBI reference rate of 48.7400.
One lakh fifteen thousand one hundred and eighty eight (115188) near future November contract were traded while only one contract was traded for September 2009 delivery.
Meanwhile, thirty seven thousand six hundred currency contracts were traded on the MCX-SX. Out of which thirty seven thousand three hundred and eighty (37380 ) was traded for immediate November contract with a best buying price of Rs 47.8600 and selling price of Rs 47.8975.
