Impacy of recession can be seen everywhere...how has it affected the student community in opting their hgher education....is there any influence of recession on their aim or ambition??

yes there would obviously be an impact of recession on the student community...
they would be more conscious with regards to the universities they opt for...

many calculations with regards to the staying expenses , course fees is done ..
many have opted out of uk universities...coz of the high cost involved..while some have totally withdrawn fom the idea of studying abroad...

moreover much of the student community have also delayed their study plans and are trying for jobs...

Professionals are turning students due to recession and students who do well in academics are also taking up coaching to crack entrance exams for higher education.

Recession is inversely proportional to the number of people taking up higher education because

a.) Jobs are not satisfactory in terms of profile or package or both.

b.) Layoffs give professionals time to self reflect.

This is justified by the spike seen in the number of students taking up entrance exams this year. Increase in the advertising expenditure by educational institutes also hints to the positive impact of recession :)
