Indo - Korean Entrepreneur Meet opens foreign partnership opportunities for SMEs in Engineering, F&B, Chemicals and Textile sectors
~ Rajagiri Center for Business Studies & Youngsan University host a 1 day Indo - Korean business conclave ~
Kochi, 20th November 2014: Rajagiri Centre for Business Studies in association with Youngsan University from South Korea organized an Indo- Korean entrepreneurship meet at its Rajagiri Valley campus on 19th November 2014. The meet was inaugurated by Dr. Joseph I. Injodey, Principal, Rajagiri Centre for Business Studies, Mr. P. Premchand, President- Kerala Management Association, Prof. Shimdeok Noh from Youngsan University and Prof. Jaedong Kang from Rajagiri Business School. The event aimed at exploring Indo - Korean business opportunities in the Engineering, F&B, Chemicals and Textile sectors. The conclave provided a much needed platform for Indian entrepreneurs, especially SMEs, to hold initial talks, propose business opportunities and discover new growth avenues both in India and South Korea.
The South Korean delegation comprised of 31 entrepreneurs, 11 professors and 12 students. The South Korean entrepreneurs included representatives from M/S Gerlin Co. a leader in Construction and interiors, M/S Aspec co. expert in Control Console, main switch board, M/S Samsung Cold Storage Co. specialized in cold storage of frozen fish. The Indian delegation included representatives from V-Guard, SFS Constructions, Synthite, Samudra Shipyard, VajraRuber Products and Tierra Food.
Most of the South Korean entrepreneurs expressed satisfaction and confidence in the growth of the Indian industry in various sectors of business. The delegation felt that the Indian economy was robust, investment friendly and ready for partnerships. Many of the Korean SMEs who partook in the meet were happy to take partnership proposal to the next level of talks.

To assist companies with their initial research, the Rajagiri Centre for Business Studies of Rajagiri College of Social Sciences (Autonomous) and Youngsan University will conduct project feasibility studies and submit findings to the participating companies. Indo - Korean partnerships is set to take place through a 3 phase investment strategy in the coming months in South India.
