Even though there are stict laws being made against ragging in colleges, still it prevails. A new incident that took place at GMC i.e Goa's Medical College, the senior students of the college had ragged two to three of their juniors at night. The incident being noticed bu the college professor was immediately brought ot the notice of the Anti-ragging committee at the earliest. Now the the seniors who had ragged their juniors are behind bars after the complaint being lodged at the police station.

Ragging today includes abuses, physical and sexual harassment of students which are strictly banned by any college. Instead it is done with the juniors. We should now take some serious steps like there should be CCTV cameras in the colleges and also in the hostels for monitoring these kind of illegal activities.
