Entertainment Network ( India), India's leading Private FM Radio operator, popularly known as Radio Mirchi, on Thursday reported a net profit of Rs 9.7 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2011, against a profit of Rs 4.3 crore in the corresponding period last year, a jump of 124%.
Revenues for the first quarter stood at Rs 63.2 crore, compared to Rs 57.5 crore in the corresponding period last year.
The company's earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) stood at Rs 21.8 crore, up 46% from the year-ago period. The company's EBITDA margin improved from 26% in Q1FY11 to 34% during the current quarter.
