Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, once again proved itself to be the No. 1 choice of Delhiites. The first independent research conducted by MRUC and ACN ORG-MARG - Indian Listenership Track (ILT) 2004, designates Radio Mirchi as the primary choice for listeners for music and entertainment, in Delhi.
According to the research, Radio Mirchi in the capital enjoys a daily listenership of 26.3 lakh, a figure much more than the listenership of all other FM radio stations combined. The listenership figures denoted to Radio City and Red FM are 14 lakh and 6 lakh respectively.
Radio Mirchi enjoys the top of mind awareness at 53 per cent, whereas Radio City and Red FM trail behind at 27 per cent and 7 per cent respectively. The study also confirms that Radio is not just restricted to weekend listening and is enjoyed by Delhiites all seven days of the week.
