PROJECT SUMMARY
Security is the matter of great concern to all of us in this world. Normally there are four types security threat to our property :
1. 2. 3. 4. Thief, an inturder . Fire, so we use fire sensor . Water spilage/overflow, so we use water sensor. Gas leak, so we use the fire sensor.
Whenever there is security branch from one of above or any combination of above. The project takes the following action: 1. Sound an ALARM to attract your or public attention;. 2. If the reset switch is not pressed within 30 seconds the project take further action will be taken itself. 3. It make an emergency call to deliver an emergency message stored in speech IC. 4. It makes five attempts to call you before it check the condition again.
Project definition
This is the project of home security system where the security of home is taken by the Micro controller Ic. In this project we will also system which will give alert on mobile number which stored by user using keypad . The loud speaker is also used in this project which will also give alert to public that there is emergency condititon in house.
The light indicator is also used in this project which will also give alert by glowing the lights.
Introduction
In “HOME SECURITY SYSTEM” project there is security belongs to the appliances used in our routine life in our house. House hold appliance like water tank over flow, fire/smoke, gas leakage in cylinder, etc. is included in this project. There one thing special in this project that it also give alert on mobile number stored in IC. In this project we can store 12 message on different location. The project presented here is based on world’s most powerful intel’s mcs-51 family of microcontroller Atmel 89c52.

DETAILS OF BLOCK DIAGRAM
The block diagram blocks have some working. Blocks are inter connected with each others. Now we study about the blocks in two to three lines. Home security system:- In this security system it will give total security to home. This system provide security like gas leakage, fire ,water over flow etc. 8051 Microcontroller:- This is a controller which control the hole programming of this system. It is inter connected to each blocks. When some error is occur it will be make noise because it is connected to buzzer. It also has internal RAM and external ROM to store data. It is also connected with gsm modem which will deliver sms to phone number which is stored in memory. Gsm modem:- It will send sms to phone number store by gsm modem. It can store 12 sms in its memory. It will send sms to give alert if person its not present at home Sensor connected:- Many sensor are connected to door, lockers, water tanks etc. If any disturbance occur than this sensor will sense that thing & give alert through speaker , Sms on phone & light indicator will indicate the light.

GSM MODEM
GSM Modem is a data oriented GSM transceiver system that uses a network provider to connect and transfer data. Using a network provide infrastructure has several advantages. Among them is a low initial cost (you don’t need to setup an expensive transceiver rig to cover a long distance), reliable, easy to use, and has wide coverage .You can use both data and voice services for your control applications. Example of data application is a remote appliance control via SMS. Data transfer via internet is even possible with GPRS module installed. GSM modem is built using the industry Proven GSM module. Following is a short list of come of its features: • GSM module for SMS + Voice • GSM/GPRS module for SMS + Voice + Internet • Switch selectable RS-232 or 3.3V TTL level serial port. • On board 3.3V LDO regulator • On board SIM card holder • EZKonnek compatible port • 5V 1.5A switch mode power supply adapter is supplied as standard accessory.
