Hi,
I am a final year MBA student at Anna University, Chennai. I am currently doing a project " Prejudices/Stereotypes/Discrimination acting as a barrier in effective assessment of interviewees in communication skill interviews" primarily in the English language in the Indian HR interviews context, and I really need help on this.
I have found some material, but some of them are from Western cross-cultural and religio/ethnic/racial perspective. Some are from the JNU stable. I am not sure if I can take them as credible sources of information given their propensity to veer towards the caste angle. I am not considering caste and religion as a criterion for prejudice for obvious reasons.
I am considering parameters such as regional stereotypes/cultural/ethnic/linguistic/economic/social class/educational/gender etc. Gender because a lot of the HR are female; so I want to find if this is a bias or not.
Subject material or interviews and questionnaire on this will be very helpful
Thanks
