Job Description:
The position is with a leading IT product company with their India development center for an upcoming product with immense growth opportunities.
Position: Product Manager
Experience: 6-8 years of total work experience, including at least 2-3years in a product management role.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsibility is to manage and prioritize product requirements and feed them into the engineering process, and as the PM moves up in seniority, more productportfolio / market strategy responsibility comes into play.
Translates customer/clients needs into new features and services through written product requirements specification.
Creates or contributes to development of product positioning, packaging and pricingstrategies. This position supports the tactical activities of managing ofproducts throughout their life cycle, from strategic definition to end of lifeplanning.
An experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization resolving awide range of issues in creative ways.
Contribute to product web pages supporting sales materials (datasheets, white papers,customer presentations, training, etc.) and launch plan.
Consolidates information across products in the line of business (forums, roadmaps, etc.)
Develop Product positioning. Define product pricing. Product level competitive analysis.
Develops goto market plans with Worldwide Marketing, BUFX and partner organizations.
Delivers customer presentations on product benefits and/or roadmaps.
Validation of product release requirements with customer and internal technical community(presales, post sales, support, BUFX, partners.)
