Each cable is manufactured from high quality electrolytic grade bright-annealed copper that offers low conductor resistance. A number of such fine copper strands are bunched in one direction to form a bunch conductor. In case of bigger size conductors, a number of such bunch conductors are stranded in rope construction, for flexibility & strength.
The conductors are insulated with special grade compounds with skin coloration offering high insulation resistance. The entire length of wire goes through high voltage spark test to ensure complete safety.

FRLS (Flame Retardant Low Smoke) - Made with special insulating material with higher oxygen & temperature index & lower smoke density rating, this insulation generates low smoke under fire conditions. This insulation retards flame propagation in buildings & industries.
FR - Flame Retardant grade PVC insulation compound has fire retardant properties, which in event of fire minimizes the spread of fire.
HR - Heat Resistance grade PVC insulation compound has heat retardant properties. It can be available in two grades - 85 degree celsius & 105 degree celsius.
ZHFR (Zero Halogen Flame Retardant) - These wires are made with insulation material, which is free from halogens. Since it prevents emission of corrosive gases and is also highly fire retardant, these wires are primarily used where critical supply is essential during fire.
Raw Materials
Copper - There are no copper mines in India. Hindustan Copper / Birla Copper import copper & supply the same to companies in India. Copper is available at approximately Rs. 124 / kg. This is then sent to Aum Enterprises for job work. The cost of job work is Rs. 6 / kg. The copper is then received as per the size specified.
PVC - There are various grades. PVC (FR) 01 grade is used for insulation. The cost of this is approximately Rs. 41 / kg; 75 grade is used for sheathing (flexible). The PVC is brought from Yash Industries.
Master batch (colour) - It is the colour of the wire. The company buys master batch from Aryan Polyplast. The cost of master batch is approximately Rs. 82 / kg.
