Dr ManMohan Singh has its own Limitations , as his Government is Govern by other people like Sonia Gandhi. He is able Administrater, but could not impliment his Policy of Perform or Perish , to the Government servants. which resulted in Very Hogh rate of Corruption . People have hagged him as Weak P m because he may not get elected for Loke Sabha seat. We must remember Mr. Lalbahadur Shashtri Ji , for 1965 War with Pakistan.After Mr Obama Visit and assurence .Dr Manmohan Singh must act tough with Pak.
 
n USA, there is Presidential form of Government.
People of the states ( There are 51 states in USA) elect the members of Electoral College. Each state elects Two Members. The members of Electoral College Elect the President. The Candidate getting more than 50% Votes, is Elected as the President. President and Vice President are elected simultaneously.

In India, there is Parliamentary form of Government. The President is elected, from a group of nominees, by the elected members of the Parliament of India (Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha) as well as of the state legislatures (Vidhan Sabhas), A formula is used to allocate votes, so that, there is a balance between the population of each state and the number of votes assembly members from a state can cast, and to give an equal balance between State Assembly members and National Parliament members.
Electoral College supervises this election.
The Vice-President is elected by a direct vote of all members (elected and nominated) of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
 
In India the president is just a nominal form of power. No president in our history has exercised or shown that he has real powers, but there are instances when he can use the powers vested in him to good cause but sadly no person has tried.
 
we may not call that president of India is weak. The president of India symbolic representative of the Nation and presents the perception of India. Whenever no political party acquires majority in the Lok Sabha then the role of president comes in and the president has got the power to select and designate the Prime Minister.
