Ms Ramnathkar was talking to a group of women who wanted to embark on their entrepreneurial ventures. The occasion was the inaugural function of Prayaas -2011, a three day workshop for women entrepreneurs, spread over a period of three weeks at Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research, Mumbai on 2nd October, Sunday .
Prayaas -2011 is an initiative by Welingkar Institute to help a group of women, to help them realize their entrepreneurial dreams. The group, very suitably named Kasturimrig, has women well versed in the ways of life as most of them are in their middle years; they relish dreams in their eyes with a steely determination to succeed at whatever they put their hands to.

Welingkar under Prayaas -2011 plans to provide all the possible support to help these women realize their aspirations by helping them with expert guidance and mentoring till their dreams translate into meaningful entrepreneurial ventures and take off. The group will continue getting all the support and mentoring as per their needs even after the workshop. Present on the occasion were experts from Welingkar faculty, media and a few journalism students who wanted to follow the venture right from the beginning.
