Pranshu soni of SIMSR talks about her placement experience

I met our Brand Ambassador Pranshu Soni for a treat as she was placed. I know the company's name but i am suppose to keep it secret as the formal placement report is not yet out . While talking she had some awesome points to share so thought of putting it in form of an interview.

Q1. Did you have a panel to interview you?

No I did not have face a panel but I had three rounds of interview.

Q2. What were the questions asked to you in all the three rounds?

In the first and second rounds the question asked like

  • Why a MBA?
  • Why did you choose this company?
  • Being an electrical engineer why did you do a MBA?
  • In the First round they asked me to sell security system and club cars
  • In the HR round I was asked my strength and weakness.

Q3. Which was the most difficult question to answer?

The question was after HUL why any company? My answer was I can work in any manufacturing company due to my electrical engineering background.

Q4. Was the interview stressful?

No it was not stressful according to me. Even after it had three rounds all three rounds were stress free.

Q5. Where are you going to get placed?

This was asked in the HR round that what is my preferred location? I have said it should be either pune or Mumbai. The HR was pressurizing me to take Delhi but I was not comfortale with Delhi as my home town is Madhya Pradesh.

Q6. How was the experience?

It was awesome. It was not stressful in all the three rounds the interviewers made me very comfortable and for me it was the best and coolest interview as I cleared it. This interview was bit different then all other interviews that I had given because here I got questions that were related to the manufacturing field only. It was fun answering them.

Q7. Would you like to give some tips to students who would go into manufacturing field?

When you are going for interview in manufacturing company remember this things:

· They need smart people who can handle customers

· They want honest people

· Do not use business jargons

· They need assurance that you would be capable of gaining faith in the consumers.
