Poor writing can Cost you money

If you are involved in any sort of business it is vital that you have a command of the English language.

* You can be the most intelligent person in the world, but if there's bad writing in your correspondence, sales copy or website you're going to look dumb.


Poor writing implies either that you are poorly educated, or that you're too lazy to proofread your own work.

The options to correct this deficiency?

Spell check anyway to pick up obvious mistakes.

Proofread. Patiently. Line by line and word by word. Ensure that words are not only spelled correctly, but are used grammatically and in context.

Get someone else to proofread it. The human mind, for some reason, hits a blindspot when dealing with mistakes it has created itself. Definitely have someone else proofread it if you know you have bad English.

Take the time to learn spelling, punctuation and grammar.
