Politicians should be eligible to apply for bail?

Our constitution says ' All are equal in the eyes of law". This is being taken to advantage by the politicians.They commit the felony,get a bail,manipulate the evidence & annul the case.Moreover, the surety amount is peanuts for them to pay.So they easily come on bail.The so called leaders of our politics are setting a wrong trend.Why not change the law? Politicians are not eligible to apply for bail.We could see some improvements when this law is implemented.Law is not equal for all.Poor ppl and middle class are staying away from courts,cops bcos they know that they are in the losing side.So everyone are not equal before law.Rich are always in the blue eyes of law.With sheer money power and political support you can tweak any case in your favor.Why then we should follow the old adage " All are equal before the eyes of law".I even feel this effect should also be applied to Police,Lawyers.They are ppl who are supposed to protect the constitution which inherintly means that they must not overrule/misuse it.

The law is equal to everyone this country...no matter if you are a politician or a common man...if u have broken the law and you should be punished....

all the laws and rules are being applied only to common people and not high cader people or the rich ones because of corruption. the problem is that if u make a law then they will put a bill for another which can break the first law and sometimes these laws are in the papers only not in the society

The rules are rules my friend even for a politician or a common man. Different is that now a days many criminal joining the politics and our big politicians allowing them and giving them tickets. Criminals think if they will be politics then most of their cases will be drop or not proceed because of the power standing behind them.
