Mumbai, February 17, 2015: Project Management Institute (PMI), the world's leading not-for-profit professional membership association for project management announced the winners of 'PMI India Awards for Academicians' at PMI India's third Research & Academic Conference on Project Management. The three day professional development event was hosted by National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), Mumbai.

The PMI India Awards for Academicians are the most prestigious, one-of-its-kind awards in India that recognize teachers and professors in the project management discipline. The academicians get acknowledged for their outstanding contributions that have made an impact in establishing the role and significance of project management education in India.

The awards were presented by Prof. R. K. Shevgaonkar, Director, IIT Delhi; Prof. Karuna Jain, Director NITIE & Chairperson PMI India Academic Advisory Group; Mr. Raj Kalady, Managing Director PMI India and Prof. K. N. Satyanarayana, Professor, Dept. of Civil Engineering, IIT Madras.
