Picasso Centennial Offers advance program in VFX & Film Making
In its endeavor to equip students for global careers, Picasso Animation College since its inception in 2005 has maintained a very strong technical relationship with Centennial College. Inspired by Centennial, Picasso Animation College employs the best practices from international animation school. The objective is to provide students a solid foundation in generic concepts and make them lifelong learners. The objective of this joint initiative is to impart students with the best international exposure and employ best international practices towards skill development in animation. The international program offers students, the learning of concepts in a practical manner and has an extra edge in building a solid foundation in generic concepts, making them lifelong learners. Thus students emerge as creative thinkers and product experts rather than mere software technicians.
Picasso Animation College has been working in collaboration with Centennial College, Canada, the world renowned community college with credit to its alumni who have worked on well known animation projects like Stuart Little, Shark Tales, Lord of the Rings and Anaconda.
According to Mr. Siddhartha Bhargava, Managing Director – Picasso Animation College said, “Since animation is global in nature, it is very important for students to understand the global benchmark of the Animation Industry. In this Industry, a majority of employers consider fresh candidates to be under-trained and they have to undergo on the job training programs resulting in spending enormous amount in their training. This gap between the existing training practices and the real-world needs have lead to a shortage of ready-to-work employees in the industry. In such a scenario, we thought of designing a course that will address these needs.”
He further added, “Picasso –Centennial joint program aims to train the students using the latest technologies and by using a team of experts so that they graduate with the best knowledge of industry needs and practices”.
The duration of Picasso Foundation Program is for 9 months duration & runs concurrently with the B.Sc 1st and 2nd semester. The advance program is co-extensive with 3rd & 4th semester of B.Sc curriculum.
