GREEN TEA 100mg Tablets USES
Most teas contain large amounts of polyphenols, which are plant-based substances that have been shown to have antioxidant, anticancer, and antiviral properties. However, green tea is particularly rich in a type of polyphenols called catechins. These substances have also been shown to have anti-inflammatory and anticancer properties, but recent research in animals show that catechins may also affect body fat accumulation and cholesterol levels.
CONTRAINDICATIONS, PRECAUTIONS, ADVERSE REACTIONS
Green tea also contains caffeine, which has stimulatory effects and is responsible for the majority of adverse effects and drug interactions. Individuals with peptic ulcers may want to avoid drinking green tea because it can stimulate the production of gastric acid. Reported (Oral): Nausea and GI upset, possibly due to tannin content. Insomnia, irritability, and nervousness can occur due to caffeine content.
